A New Advancement In Lighting Bulbs- G9 Bulbs!

Earlier if you wanted to opt for a contemporary lighting scheme with the help of halogen lights, your options were limited. This was when G9 bulbs were not yet discovered. Not very long back most of the halogen fittings used halogen capsules, which had to be operated using a transformer. Chandeliers and wall lights often incorporate heavy and bulky toroidal transformers within their designs. These earlier halogen lights were not dimmable and the necessity of the transformers limited the aesthetic freedom of design of the fittings. They also had a huge impact on the costs which made them too expensive for the common man. This problem was eliminated with the advent of the G9 bulb.

G9 bulbs created a revolution in the way halogen lights could be used. These bulbs are fully dimmable and operate on mains voltage. The advent of these bulbs opened up a complete new market in the lighting industry. They are smaller in appearance, but they have huge potential for both the consumer, as well as the designer. They have a unique base which eliminates the necessity of the bulky transformer. This makes wall lights and chandeliers sleek and contemporary in design. At the same time, with the help of the G9 bulb, these designs can be manufactured at a much lower cost.

Next Generation LED Bulb

The next generation LED Bulbs GU10 is known for their versatile nature and easy installations. Gone are the days when an LED bulb was used for limited purposes of decorations.

The LED bulbs have evolved over these years as the most energy efficient light bulbs compared to any other bulbs available in the market. Created with the latest technology they are available almost for all domestic as well as commercial uses. They are now available in types that can provide a beam angle from 30 – 60 degree, which is not available in halogen bulbs. Normal LED bulbs GU10 require a voltage of 100 – 240V AC. Interestingly, you don’t need an LED driver or any kind of transformer for them. These flicker free stable and static bulbs have started dominating the markets.

If you have been looking for saving on your electricity bills, this Next Generation LED bulb is a must have. They are available in all shapes and sizes to suit your requirements. They have been best suited for using as accent lighting, recessed lighting and track lighting, as they can be dimmed and the beam can be increased as per your requirement.

Small Bulbs That Work Like 50 Watt Ones

The main feature that makes LED bulbs so very popular is that they are equivalent to a wattage much higher than their actual wattage. A classic example of this is the Philips GU10 LED 7W bulb. This Philips bulb falls under the dimmable line of products. The 7 Watts bulb is equivalent to one of 50 Watts. Plus, it comes in many colour output options such as warm white, cool white or very warm white light and with a beam spread over anywhere between 25 and 40 degrees. The dimmable quality of the Philips GU10 LED 7W bulb makes it possible to reduce the brightness of the bulb to one tenth of its full capacity which translates to energy saving up to 85%.

There are other LED GU10 50W bulbs which refers to other smaller bulbs that are equivalent to 50 Watts. These include the 5.5 Watt Aurora non-dimmable bulb that gives off a cool white coloured beam and is the perfect replacement for a halogen; the Kosnic 5 Watt bulb that gives off a warm white coloured beam and is equivalent to 50 Watts while being dimmable.

The advantage of these LED GU10 50W bulbs is that they provide bright lighting but cost only a fraction of the amount that such a light would normally cost. This translates to greater savings without compromise on the brightness of the lighting.

G9: Halogen Like Brightness With Great Savings

Bright lighting has very often been synonymous with halogen lights. Any bright lighting requirement was often fulfilled with halogen bulbs. But this brightness comes at the high price of high energy consumption expenses. Additionally, halogen lights do not sit very well with environmental activists. The search for a more affordable and eco-friendly alternative brought G9 bulbs to the forefront. A G9 bulb is the latest replacement option for halogens and that too at a fraction of its cost.

Kosnic, one of the world’s leading electric fixture producers, manufactures G9 bulbs of 4 Watts. The exceptional feature of these bulbs is that in spite of being 4 Watts, their brightness is equivalent to a halogen of 40 Watts. An added advantage is that their small size makes them ideal to provide bright light in small spaces, that too in a colour of the buyer’s choice. Kosnic offers daylight and warm light options. The best part is of course the saving on electricity costs. A G9 bulb can save up to 90% of electricity cost, and that too without any compromise on the quality or brightness of the light.

The large number of features makes this 63 mm long lighting fixture a power packed option that saves cost and gives the eco-friendly users a reason to smile without paying even a small price on brightness.

Energy efficient lighting options for the hospitality industry

The hospitality industry is one of the highest users of electricity and electrical appliances. A simple hotel will have more than a hundred rooms and bathrooms, restaurants, pubs, recreational areas and common areas such as lobbies and hallways. Most of these areas are lit all the time, whether night or day and are equipped with a number of light fixtures for that perfect ambiance. Inevitably, hotels have high power consumption and energy costs which result in the demand for a more viable option. GU10 LED bulbs and MR16 LED bulbs provide that very option.

Both these products have similar features. They have low output versions which work well for focus lighting and are available in cool and warm white light and even colours such as red, pink, green, blue and yellow among others. These are apt for hallways and result in great savings with a bulb of 3 Watts providing the same lighting as that of a bulb of 25 Watts. High output versions make for perfect room lighting and are popular for larger areas such as hotel lobbies. These bulbs also come in a dimmable version which is perfect for areas that require lighting twenty four hours a day. These lights can be dimmed to a fraction of the full brightness which helps reduce costs even more.

The GU10 LED bulbs and MR16 LED bulbs are in great demand by players in the hospitality industry as a cost reducer and creator of social awareness.

Cost Effective LED Floodlights

LED floodlights are the future of outdoor lighting. Not only they have helped in saving an enormous amount of energy, but also give customers the same effect as halogen light bulbs. Compared to traditional floodlights, LED floodlight with its cutting edge technology has made it one of the most required lighting solutions. It is ideal for a place where you need wide coverage of light. They are a lot stronger than standard halogen and incandescent floodlights.

LED floodlights come with PIRs and photocell technology. With a low wattage they use less energy consumption, which allows you to save enormous amount of energy and money over a period of time. An LED floodlight does not only solve your current needs in terms of lighting solution and usability but also gives you an opportunity to be experimental with the lights and its use. It also enables you to save a substantial amount of money and energy, which in its own way gives us an opportunity to contribute towards a greener planet for future generations.
